Allen Rodney Krebs , 71, of Mason, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 24, 1950, in Point Pleasant, WV, a son of the late Adam and Dorthy (Fowler) Krebs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Mattics and brother, Adam Krebs.

Allen was a 1969 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran where he served on the U.S.S. Independence and was an Aviation Electrician during the Vietnam Era. Allen retired from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 439, Charleston, WV.

While living in Point Pleasant, he attended Bellemead United Methodist Church, and would later hold membership at the Clifton United Methodist Church, where he served on several committees for the church. He was also a member of the Minturn Lodge #19, Point Pleasant, WV, and the American Legion Post #200, Charleston, WV.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 35 years, Vicki (Weaver) Krebs; son, Jason Roush and his wife, Becky, of New Haven; sisters, Geneth Krebs of Point Pleasant, Sharon McGraw of Camp Conley; grandchildren, Kyle and Brittany Roush of New Haven, Kendall Roush of New Haven, Phoebe Roush of New Haven; great grandchildren, Kennedi Roush and Kade Roush of Hartford and special fishing buddy, Ricky Higgins (Julie) of Parkersburg, WV.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2022, at Union Cemetery, Letart, WV, with Military honors provided by the V.F.W. Post # 9926, Mason, WV, American Legion Post # 140, New Haven, and American Legion Post # 0039, Pomeroy, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local Fire Department, EMS, Police Department, or the Mason County Sheriff Department.
