Audra M. Harmon Leighton , 98, of Letart, WV, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at her home, following a brief illness.

She was born June 26, 1922, in Robertsburg, WV, Putnam County, a daughter of the late John and Ethel (Childers) Jeffries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Lee Harmon, Persey Leighton; son, Arden Lee Harmon; son-in-law, Arnold Elwood Wilson; grandson in-law, Robert D. Gordon and several brothers and sisters.

Audra was a homemaker and farmers wife. She was an avid listener to great gospel music, the Grand Ole Opry and attended Walker Chapel Church in Robertsburg. Audra also loved traveling and camping.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Wilson of Letart; grandchildren, Kimberly Harmon Taylor, Sherry Lynn Wilson Gordon, Sabrina Dawn Wilson Morris; great grandchildren, Isaac Taylor, Nathaniel Gordon (Marea), Christopher Gordon and fiancé, Meghan, Matthew Gordon, Arianna Morris, Aniston Cooper, Christopher Valentine; and special friends, Tony Weaver and Caroline Dailey.

Services will be private at this time. Interment will be in the Broad Run Cemetery, Letart, WV.
