Betty Rose (Mayes) Robinson, 86, of Mason, WV, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, WV.

She was born December 15, 1937, in Henderson, WV, a daughter of the late Forest and Daisy (Gillispie) Mayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Robinson; brother, Jack Mayes; sister, Shirley Spears and nephew, David Spears.

Betty was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and a member of the Mason United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Stewart Johnson V.F.W. Post 9926, Mason, WV. Betty enjoyed volunteering her time at the food pantry and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen McDaniel of Hartford, Karla Robinson and husband, Jeff Willet of Point Pleasant, WV; brother, Roy Mayes of Gallipolis, OH; sister, Ella Willet and husband, Charles of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Amanda, Steven, Jenna; great grandchildren, Brycian, Brodie, Kensley, and Paisley.

Service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
