Betty Jane (Kirk) White , 93, of New Haven, WV, passed away December 25, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Point Pleasant, WV.

She was born May 6, 1928, in Boone County, WV, a daughter of the late Edward D. and Willie May Gay (Matthews) Kirk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clemit White and sister, Anna Lee Chapman.

Betty was a homemaker and a life-time member of the Church of Christ in Mount Alto, WV. She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, traveling with her husband and son, and loved her cats.

Survivors include her son, George E. White of Foster, WV; nieces, Becky McCloud and her husband, Steve of Foster, WV, Peg McDermitt of New Haven, WV; brothers-in- law, Harrison White of Waynesboro, VA, Bernard White of Mason, WV and sister-in-law, Ann Woodrum of Mullins, WV.

Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, December 31, 2021, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV. Burial will follow in the Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven. Friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of service on Friday, at the funeral home.
