Billy Franklin King Jr., son of the late Billy and Natalie King (Stewart) Morgan and stepfather John Morgan passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

He was born December 19, 1954, in Gallipolis, OH. Billy lived in Letart, WV, and formerly of Leon, WV. He attended New Haven United Methodist Church and worked as a Backhoe Operator on Railroad Crossings for Penn Central, Conrail and CSX Railroads where he retired with 39 years of service.

Billy was a 1973 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and loved trains. Billy adored his grandchildren and enjoyed going to their sporting events. He never knew a stranger and enjoyed talking with others.

Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Kimberly King; children, Bradley Forbes of Letart, Kara Forbes (Travis Siders) of Parkersburg; sisters, Karen (Billy Joe) Barton of Leon, Linda Miller (Will Hesson) of Point Pleasant, David (Maria) Morgan of Point Pleasant, Jeanne Morgan of Ohio and the late Jerry (Stella) Morgan; father and mother in law, Robert and Barbara Vickers of New Haven; brother in law, Rob Vickers of Letart; sister in law, Sarah (Gary) Caldwell of Bidwell, OH; grandchildren, Alexis Siders, Zander Forbes, Malachi Siders, Landon Colburn, Rylann McKnight, Hayden Davis and several nieces, nephews, and his furry companion, Sugar.

Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor John Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday.
