Carol Jane (Russell) Workman, 84, of Mason, WV, passed away May 28, 2021, in Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation, Point Pleasant, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born January 21, 1937, in West Columbia, WV, a daughter of the late Eddie and Virginia (Booth) Russell. Her husband, John M. Workman; son, John R. Workman and daughter, Cindy (Rick) Hesson also preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Wahama High School, Mason, WV. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 157, Mason, WV. She attended the Christian Brethren Church, Mason, WV, and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her grandchildren Rikki and Tyler J. Hesson; great-grandchildren, Trevor McGuire and Avery Hesson. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. ~ Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Union Cemetery, Letart, WV, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating.
