Cheryl Ann (Flowers) Oldaker, 69, of Hartford, WV, passed away August 30, 2026, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.

She was born May 2, 1957, in Mason, WV, a daughter of the late Buddy Eugene Flowers and Peggy (Justice) (Flowers) Reitmire.

Cheryl was an elementary school cook working in Hartford, West Columbia, Mason and New Haven schools for over 30 years. She was also recorder for the town of Hartford for 25 years. She was a graduate of Wahama High School and a Methodist by faith. Cheryl enjoyed reading and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Johnnie Oldaker; brother-in-law, Jerry (Jane) Oldaker; step-mother, Dixie Flowers; step-brother, Michael Flowers; step-sisters, Tracy Flowers and Jodie Leone; special niece, Elisabeth (Jeremiah) Swab; several other nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Marie (Harry) Pettit.

Service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the funeral home.
