Cora Marie (Parsons) Kimes, 81, of Reedsville, OH, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side March 29, 2024.

She was born April 18, 1942, in Glenville, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert and Geneva (Harris) Parsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Kimes; sons, David "PeeWee", James, Bob and Randy Kimes; daughters, Mary, Rhonda and Tammy; brothers, Harry "Jack", Jesse, Eddie, Chester and Steven Parsons; sisters, Hallie Minrey and Lenora "Sis" Miller.

She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant from Lakin State Hospital, West Columbia, WV. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Rose Kimes of Reedsville, OH; brother, Robert Kimes; sisters, Kay Peters, Greta Peters, Madeline Duskey, Patricia Knicely and Wanda Accord; 8 grandchildren including her caretaker and granddaughter Bobbi (Larry) Parker; 17 great- grandchildren including her special great grandson, Ryan Parker; special friend, Barb Lewis and her dog Kona that never left her side.

Private graveside service will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Letart-Evergreen Cemetery, Letart, WV, with Pastor Charlie Hargraves officiating. Arrangements provided by Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV.
