Dale Ray Smith , 66, of New Haven, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 16, 1956, in Cincinnati, OH, a son of Bonnie (Forth) Smith and the late Jonnie O'Dell Smith.

Dale was a 1974 graduate of Meigs High School and retired as a Boilermaker with Union Local #667, Winfield. He was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Dale attended Graham United Methodist Church and was a member of the Mason County Coon Hunters Association.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his beloved wife of 46 years, Carol (Randolph) Smith; son, David Ray Smith and his wife, Nancy, of New Haven; daughters, Joyce Smith of Mason, Melissa Hall and her husband, Aaron of San Antonio, TX; sister, Carol Mahr and her husband, Ryan of Rutland, OH; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, with Pastor Robert Brinker officiating.
