David William "Peewee" Kimes , 57, of Hartford, WV, passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2022, at home.

He was born November 2, 1965, the son of Cora (Parsons) Kimes and the late Archie Kimes. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Bob, Randy Kimes and three sisters, Mary, Rhonda, and Tammy.

Peewee had previously worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with several years of service. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and searching for golf balls.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his children, Joey Kimes of New Haven, Tyissha Kimes of Letart; sister, Rose Kimes of Reedsville, OH; grandchildren, Aiden Lewis, Elayna Lewis, Lyla Lewis, Rayna Kimes, Reed Kimes and niece, Bobbi Parker of Reedsville, OH.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Charlie Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow in the Letart-Evergreen Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
