Deloris Juanita (Owens) Gibbs, 90, of Hartford, WV, passed away December 6, 2024, at her home.

She was born, August 27, 1934, in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of the late Harvey Elizabeth and Hattie J. (Smith) Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Gibbs; brothers, Junior, Dick, and Bill Owens; sisters, Phyllis, Linda, Charlene, and Marlene; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Griffith, Isiah and Jayden Roy, Curtis Lee Varnett.

She was a former employee of the Zanesville Glass Factory. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Thomas B. (Tammy) Gibbs of Crown City, OH; daughters, Beverly (Donald) Lyons, Kimberly (Lee) Boles, and Melody Gibbs all of Point Pleasant, Regina (Mark) Griffith of Letart and Marlene (Gibbs) Roush of Pomeroy, OH; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. ~ Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV with Chris "Buster" Neece officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2024, at the residence of Mrs. Deloris Gibbs, 178 Railroad Street, Hartford, WV 25247. The family will receive guests at the home from 12 o'clock noon until 3 p.m. on Monday.
