Dolores Ann (Dripcheck) VanMeter, 85, of Mason, WV, passed away April 29, 2021, in Teays Valley Center, Hurricane, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born July 29, 1935, in Glendale, WV, a daughter of the late Mike Dripcheck and Eva Marie (Ohlinger) Dripcheck Blinco.

She was a retired housekeeping supervisor for Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis, OH. She enjoyed gardening and especially her roses.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ray Thomas VanMeter Sr; son, Ray T. (Evelyn) VanMeter Jr. of Clifton; grandchildren Deann Russell of New Haven and Chris VanMeter of Mason; great-granddaughter, Arielle Russell; great-great grandchild, Raegan Harper; sisters, Sue Nicola, Margaret Scott and Carolyn Summers; step-brothers, Kenny Blinco, Thomas Blinco III and a step-sister, Brenda Burge.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. ~ Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating.
