Elizabeth Anabelle (Taylor) Ohlinger, 88, of West Columbia, WV, passed away July 17, 2025, at Lakin Nursing and Rehabilitation West Columbia, WV following an extended illness.

She was born June 20, 1937, in Middleport, OH, a daughter of the late Lawrence Taylor and Laura (Doerfer) Taylor Knapp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Ohlinger; brothers, Charles, Tom, Pete and Roger Taylor; sister, Frances Edwards; grandchild, Leah Russell.

She was a homemaker, a caretaker of the elderly and a former employee of Holiday Inn. She was a member of the Christian Brethren Church, Mason, WV and a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary # 9926 Mason, WV.

Survivors include her sons, Richard R. (Jacqueline) Ohlinger of West Columbia, Stephen L. (Yvonne) Ohlinger of Mason and Joseph E. Ohlinger of Mason; daughters, Sheila A. (Douglas) Sanford of New Haven and Patricia L. (Jeffrey) Roush of Letart; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Howard Blain officiating. Burial will follow in Broad Run Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
