Eric Ross Morris, 74, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, following an extended illness.

He was born December 22, 1952, a son of the late Ross and Iris (Setser) Morris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ellen (Stewart) Morris; aunt and uncle, Beth and Jim Setser.

Eric was a Riverboat Captain of 49 years for Neale Marine Transportation in Parkersburg, WV. Survivors include his daughter, Samantha (David) Campbell of Buffalo, WV; grandchildren, Zachary Atkinson and Chase Morris; brother, Millard Morris of Xenia, OH; sister, Deborah Ingles of Pomeroy, OH.

There will be no public services at this time.
