Frank Nelson Reynolds, 85, of New Haven, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, OH.

He was born on July 28, 1941, the son of the late Frank Murphey and Catherine Mae (King) Reynolds.

Frank was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army after more than 40 years of dedication to his country, including service in the Vietnam War and Berlin Crisis. He also retired from AEP after more than 30 years as a maintenance supervisor. Frank was a member of the VFW Post 9926 in Mason, WV, a graduate of Wahama High School, an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He loved his cat "Lil Bit," feeding the birds, watching basketball, and will always be remembered as a "car guy." Frank often attended West Columbia United Methodist Church and most of all, he loved and adored his family.

Survivors include his son, Revna "Jay" (Beanna) Reynolds, Long Bottom, OH; daughter, Jill (John) Burdette, Coolville, OH; grandchildren, Jonthan Barrett, Jenna Burdette, Jordan, Colton, and Sydney Reynolds; brothers, Kenny (Linda) Reynolds and Norman (Judy) Reynolds; sister, Lisa (Jeff) Ohlinger; special aunt, Patsy Shinn.

Service with military honors will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Foglesong Funeral Home in Mason, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Burial will follow in New Lone Oak cemetery, Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
