Gail Frances McAbee, 74, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away October 24, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Care in Point Pleasant.

She was born July 31, 1948 in West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Bert and
Gaynell Freeman McAbee.

She was graduate from Wahama High School and had worked at Robbins and Myers and Cox's Department Store. Gail has been a Christian her whole life and loved reading her Bible. She loved her two cats, Patches and Tom Boy. They were her babies. Gail loved watching old movies like Gunsmoke, Three Stooges and Bonanza.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her two siblings, Judith Starcher (George) of West Columbia, WV and James Curtis McAbee (Judy) of Spencer, WV; nieces and nephews, Edward Starcher of West Columbia, WV, Lisa Bryant (Jeremy) of Point Pleasant, WV, Jimmy Board (Lois) of Mason, WV and Susan Petry of Point Pleasant, WV; special nephew and caregiver, Johnnie Board (Robin); caregivers, Joann Taylor and Debbie West; and many great nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Sue Board Hayes; and two nephews, Bert Ferris Board and Robert Earl Board.

A memorial service will be taking place o July 7 at Clifton United Methodist Church at 2:00. She will be buried at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV.

Arrangements are under the direction of Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV.
