Gina Maria Taylor, 53, of New Haven, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5, 2024.

Gina was born on Valentines Day in 1970, to Roger and Sally (Rayburn) Taylor. She was a 1988 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Letart.

Gina had previously worked for Mason County Schools as a Substitute Teacher's Aide and was an elderly caretaker. She had a loving and forgiving heart and never had bad things to say about others. Gina loved being an aunt and spending time with her nieces meant the world to her.  She enjoyed riding four wheelers, cooking, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Shane Riggs of Hartford; sister, Jamei (Scott) Wood of Letart; granddaughter, Mackenzie Sayre; nieces, Zaylee and Zandria Wood; several cousins, and extended family. She is also survived by her loving dog, Ziggy, that brought much love and happiness into her life this last year.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Rex Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Letart-Evergreen Cemetery, Letart. Friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
