Glenn Edwards, 71, of Clifton, WV, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH.

He was born September 11, 1949, in Point Pleasant, WV, a son of the late William and Evelyn (Gibbs) Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Glenn was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He retired as a steelworker from Midwest Steel Company with several years of service. Glenn was a member of the United Steelworkers Union, Pomeroy, and a life-time member of the V.F.W., Post #9926, Mason, WV. He enjoyed woodworking, riding his side by side, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Edwina (Stanley) Edwards; sons, Scott Edwards of Clifton, Jason Gibbs and his wife Amy of Hartford; daughters, Sherry Edwards of Pt. Pleasant, Jessica Edwards of Hartford, Nikki Stanley of Clifton, Stephanie Fetty of New Haven; brothers, John Edwards of Mason, Larry Edwards of Rutland, Ralph Edwards of Cottageville, Wayne Edwards of Hartford; sister, Carol Will of Pomeroy; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021, at Zerkle Cemetery, Letart, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Military rites will be provided by the VFW Post #9926, Mason, American Legion Post #140, New Haven and American Legion Post#0039, Pomeroy.

A procession will leave Foglesong Funeral Home in Mason at 1:40 P.M. to the cemetery.

Per family request, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, masks/facial coverings will be required, and social distancing will be observed at the cemetery.
