Irma Aileen (Roush) Gilland, 91, of Mason, WV, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 1, 1933, in Clifton, WV, a daughter of the late Dallas Victor and Cora Ann (Varian) Roush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lewis Ray "Lew" Gilland; brother, Milton Roush and sister, Hilda Roush.

Irma graduated from Wahama High School, class of 1950. She was a retired Secretary from Wahama Junior High School with 25 years of service and attended Mason United Methodist Church. Following retirement, Irma loved shopping at various stores. She also enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Gilland and wife, Mona of Lancaster, OH, Debbie Roush and husband, Wesley of Mason, Connie Gilland of Mason; grandchildren, Jodi Ervin (Jason), Ryan Roush (Chelsea), Jessica Woods (Brad); great-grandchildren, Jolisha Ervin, Jace Ervin, Draeson Roush, Krinson Roush, Evie Woods; and two special ladies that cared for Irma, Marie Hatfield, and Kim Duncan.

Service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
