Jean Elizabeth (Redman) Davis, 101, of Mason, WV, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Overbrook Center, Middleport, OH, following an extended illness.

She was born February 22, 1924, in Mason County, WV, a daughter of the late Orville and Clara (Elias) Redman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Davis; brothers, Thomas, Homer, Richard Redman and one sister, Martha Newell.

Jean graduated from Wahama High School and was the oldest living member of the Mason United Methodist Church. She had previously worked as a Nurse for Dr. Schaekel in Mason and retired from the B&B Market. She enjoyed going out to eat, shopping with her daughter and granddaughter and taking care of her cat with the help of her son for 15 years, which was her guardian angel, Whitey.

Survivors include her children, Clarice Knopp and husband, Bruce of Mason, Jason Davis and his wife Kathy of Middleport, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Carson-Talbert, Stacy (Matt) Moran, Trenton "T.J." (Emily) Davis, Dakota (Rachel) Dewitt and five great grandchildren, Ryan, Natalie, Little Don and Braylon.

Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2025, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Mike Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the funeral home.
