Jennifer Leigh Oldaker, 67, of Belpre, OH, formerly of Hartford, WV, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

She was born November 2, 1956, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Johnnie Louis and Mitzi Clara (Hicks) Oldaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Johnetta Sue Oldaker, Jeanette Lynn Oldaker and adopted son, Gary Maynard.

Jennifer was a 1975 graduate of Wahama High School and a 1981 graduate of Marshall University where she received a Master in Music Education and Voice. She had worked as a music teacher in several schools around West Virginia and Kentucky. Jennifer was an avid Marshall fan, enjoyed crocheting, and was Methodist by faith.

Survivors include her brothers, Jerry Oldaker and wife, Jane of Pomeroy, OH, Johnnie Oldaker and wife, Cheryl of Hartford and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2024, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart, WV.
