Jerry Warren Morgan, 74, of Letart, WV, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at home, with family by his side.

He was born December 18, 1949, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Ernest John and Mabel Lucille (Stewart) Morgan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Stella (King) Morgan and stepmother, Natalie Morgan.

Jerry was a 1968 graduate of Wahama High School and retired from Sporn Plant as a mechanic with 30 years of service. Jerry attended Fairview Bible Church where he served as a trustee of the church and assisted in teaching the youth. He modeled his life after Christ in serving others and always lending a helping hand. He was a member of the Mason County CEOS.

Survivors include his son, John Robert Morgan and wife, Julie of Apple Grove, WV; brother, John Morgan and wife, Maria of Point Pleasant, WV; twin sister, Jeanne Morgan of OH; stepbrother and sisters, Billy King, Linda Miller-Slinde, Karen Barton and several nieces, nephews, and the many friends that were more like family.

Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Fairview Bible Church, Letart, WV, with Pastors Brian May and Donnie Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Zerkle Cemetery, Letart. Friends may visit with the family from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV.
