Joyce Lynn (Goodnite) Dye , 66, of Letart, WV, went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2021 at her home following a brief illness.

She was born June 12, 1954 in Mason, WV, a daughter of the late Donald George Goodnite and Grace (Gibbs) Goodnite of Hartford, WV.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law Robert and Ruth Ann Dye.

She was a graduate of Wahama High School. She was a graduate of Parkersburg Beauty College and worked twelve years at Sonya's Cut and Curl. She was an active member of the Fairview Bible Church, Letart, WV. Joyce's greatest joys were her granddaughters and her church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband of 46 years, Donald William Dye; daughters, Brandi Hankinson of New Haven and Carly (Chris) Hanson of Columbus, OH; granddaughters, Riley and Rowan Hankinson and Isabella Hanson; sister, Marilyn Goodnite of Hartford.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Friday, March 5, 2021 at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
