Joyce Lee (Lewis) Kearns, 78, of Mason, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at home following an extended illness.

She was born on July 21, 1948, in West Columbia, WV, and was the daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Margie Marie (Ferguson) Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several in-laws.

As a homemaker, Joyce took great pride in caring for her home and family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for the ones she loved. She loved to travel, with trips to the Amish Country holding a special place in her heart. One of her greatest joys was seeing her grandkids play ball and any other sports they were involved in. She was also a faithful member of Clifton Tabernacle Church in Clifton, WV.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Danny Kearns; son, Scott (Tina) Kearns; daughter, Melissa Riggs; brother, Terry (Barbara) Lewis; grandchildren, Kylie Riggs, Nyles Riggs, Ethan Kearns; great-grandchildren, Jalen Brooks and Draeson Riggs; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public service at this time.
