Julia Marie Russell, 84, passed away January 4, 2024 in Lenoir City, TN at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 11, 1939 in Toronto, OH and was the daughter of the late Dick and Mary Ellen Adams Seyler.

Julia enjoyed cooking, reading, quilting, seamstress work and her beloved pet, Annabelle "Annie." She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her four children, Carol Hargett of Crestwood, KY, Rebecca Kaisler (Ty) of Marshfield, MO and Debra Nichol (Doug) of Lenoir City, TN, John Russell (Jill) of Rockport, TX; grandchildren, Shane Grimes (Kim), Brandy Deveraux, Josh Deveraux, Jacey Ahrenholtz, Seth Hargett, Grant Kaisler (Carolina), Leah Elliot (Ricky), Graham Viergets (Rachel), Blake Kaisler and John Gregory Russell "Fella;" 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Lawson Higgins; and two sisters, Sharon Stark and Sandra Sims.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn, Sue and Gerald Hart; and granddaughter, Brooke Medcalf.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. ~ Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home located at 2275 2nd & Pomeroy St. Mason, WV 25260 with burial to follow at Kirkland Cemetery in Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
