Karl Arnold Kebler Jr., 89, Mason, WV, passed away February 14, 2025, in Meigs-Holzer E.R. Pomeroy, OH following a brief illness.

He was born May 8, 1935, in Owosso, MI a son of the late Karl A. Kebler Sr. and Alice Elizabeth (Hendee) Kebler; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark James Kebler; brother, Dale Kebler.

He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Era and a Life Member of the Stewart-Johnson V.F.W. Post # 9926 Mason, WV. He was a retired Accountant and Tax Preparer founding the H&R Block office in Pomeroy, OH in 1969. He was a former employee of Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV, and a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local #5668 Ravenswood.  He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Mason, WV where he had previously served as a Deacon. He was a former member and choir director at Bellemead United Methodist Church, Point Pleasant, WV. He was a professional saxophone player and enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years Mary Carolyn (Buckalew) Kebler; son, Karl A. Kebler III and his wife Karen of Mason, WV, Scott Allen (Shari) Kebler of Mason, WV and Todd Andrew Kebler of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, Mason, WV with Pastor Josh Waybright officiating. Burial will follow in Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley, WV. Visitation will be from 11am until time-of-service Wednesday at the church.
