Kenneth Earnest Kearns Jr, 65, of West Columbia, WV, passed away August 22, 2025, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born on December 3, 1959, in Mason, WV, a son of the late Kenneth Earnest Kearns Sr. and Delores Ilene (Mourning) Kearns of West Columbia. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Kearns.

He was a graduate of Wahama High School and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a retired laborer from the coal industry and Valley Sand and Gravel.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Connie Kearns of Mason; nephews, David (Devin) Dudley, Jesse Dudley; great-nephews, Jeremiah and Benjamim; great-niece, Annabelle; cousin, Chip Kearns and lifelong buddy, Mark Ferguson.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ August 27, 2025, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Burial will follow in Rickard Cemetery, West Columbia, WV. Visitation will be from 11a.m. until time-of-service Wednesday at the funeral home.
