Linda Madge (Ray) Cunningham, 81, of Letart, WV, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH, following a sudden illness.

She was born on August 2, 1944, a daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Bishop) Ray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Junior Cunningham; son, David Lawrence Cunningham; sister, Diana James.

Linda was a nursing assistant for Pleasant Valley Hospital and Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant, WV. She was a Christian by faith and attended Father's House Church in Hartford, WV.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula (Matthew) Rickard and Angel Cunningham (Danny Wearse); brother, Harvey (Sarah) Bush; sisters, Brenda (Rusty) Tyson and Drenda (Donnie) Elliot; grandchildren, Chasidy, Jacob, Katlin, Ashley, Jessie, Joshua, Kimberly, Nathaniel, Katie, Morgan, Courtney, Natalie and Brandon; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; special great-grandson, Chaz Dale; special friends, Fanny Oldaker and Barbara Prince; special niece, Gabrielle Bush.

Service will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Foglesong Funeral Home in Mason, with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating. Burial will follow in Zerkle Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
