Lora Ann Ihle Russell, 90, of Mason, WV passed away January 8, 2024 at home after a brief illness.

She was born March 5, 1934 in Mason County, WV and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Evelyn Stewart Ihle.

Lora was a homemaker and member of Faith Baptist Church; and enjoyed flower gardening.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Evelyn VanMeter (Ray) of Clifton, WV and Gary Russell (Carole) of IL; grandchildren, Deann Russell of New Haven, WV, Christopher VanMeter of Mason, G. Michael Russell and Mellisa Goodman both of IL; great-grandchildren, Arielle Russell of Charleston, WV, William Goodman, Hagen and Dublin Russell all of IL; and great-grandchildren, Raegan and Scarlett Harper both of Charleston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Richard "Pete" Russell; sisters, Mary Johnson and Luella Moore; and great-granddaughter Peyton Goodman.

Friends and family are invited to meet for the graveside service at 1:00 P.M. ~ Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV.
