M. Lorraine (Gill) McCauley, 83, of West Columbia, WV, passed away August 9, 2026, at her home.

She was born June 2, 1943, in Clay County, WV, and was the daughter of the late C. Obert and Nellie (Satler) Gill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lora Ohlinger; grandson, Chris Westmoreland; sisters, Lillian, Linda, Laura, Lula, Reba, and Charity; and brother, Clifton.

Lorraine was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist in Mason, WV

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dixie Lee McCauley; son, Jon (Teka) McCauley; daughter, Lisa Lee (Danny) Fields; sister, Shirley (Larkin) Broughton; brother, George (Kathy) Gill; special niece, Kristen Paeltz; grandchildren, Tamra, Amber, Stephen, Patrick, Danni Marie, Shareen, and Mattie; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Foglesong Funeral Home in Mason, with Pastor Tony Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery, New Haven, WV. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
