Mae Marie Roush , 94, of New Haven, WV, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Holzer-Meigs, Pomeroy, OH, following a brief illness.

She was born October 2, 1926, in New Haven, WV, a daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Holt) Roush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl C. Roush, and three sisters, Lovalla Lehew, Grace Roach, Jerri Young.

Mae was a graduate of Wahama High School and retired from Mason County Bank, now known as City National in New Haven with 42 years of service. She was currently employed by WalMart in Mason, with 20 years of service. Mae loved people and was a "social butterfly" and always put other people's needs in front of her own. Mae enjoyed flowers, spending time with her family and her cat, Cracker.

Survivors include her niece, Phyllis King of New Haven; great nephews, Tim King, Keith King, Mark King; great-great nieces and nephews, Natasha Scowden, Drenean King, Darrian King, Joel King, Tabitha Hardwick, Sophie King, Brittany Johnson and a host of friends.

Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Charlie Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
