Mary Ann (Hoffman) Bechtle, 64, of West Columbia, WV, passed away October 25, 2023, in Ohio State University Wexner Medical Facility, Columbus, OH, following an extended illness.

She was born March 21, 1959, in Mason, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd Freemont and Winona Virginia (Pickens) Hoffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell L. Bechtle; nephew, Kyle Irwin.

Mary Ann was a retired Dietary Manager at Lakin, WV. She was a member of the Clifton United Methodist Church and enjoyed her dogs and flowers.

Survivors include her brothers, Kenny (Anne) Hoffman of Grove City, OH and John (Mary) Hoffman of Clifton, WV; nephews, Jamie Irwin, Christopher Hoffman; nieces, Winona Holley and Mina Zaragoza; seven great nephews.

Service will be 3 p.m. ~ Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Neil Tennant officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to the Clifton United Methodist Church, C/O Jill Nelson P.O.
