Maxine Ruth Jordan, 70, of Hartford, WV, passed away November 15, 2020 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH, following a brief illness.

She was born June 3, 1950, in Letart, WV, a daughter of the late Garland Matthew Jordan and Belva Marie (Blessing) Jordan of New Haven, WV.

Her sister, Valerie Jean Jordan also preceded her in death.

She was a former beautician and owner of Maxi's Place in Evans, WV. She was a former employee of Lakin State Hospital and a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Hartford, WV. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #731, Point Pleasant, WV.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her sons, David Lee Gibbs of Letart, Larry Riffle of Letart, Ricky and Tyler Jordan of Hartford; daughters, Carla Smith of Mason and Jo'Lee Jordan of Hartford; brother, Roger Jordan of Point Pleasant; sisters Doris Deneca, Audrey Bowling, Ramona Wooten and Evelyn Little all from Letart, WV, Connie Bowen of Ona, Marcellene Beegle of Gallipolis Ferry, Pamela McFall of Portland, OH, Tammy McDade of Leon and Lisa Ohlinger of Ripley; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 7 p.m. ~ Friday, November 20, 2020 in the Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements provided by Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV.
