Michael Robert Alonzo Jones , 36, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.

He was born October 13, 1984, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Steve Jones and Robin (Petry) Glass.

Michael was a 2003 graduate of Wahama High School. He was a United States Marine Veteran and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Michael was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing various sports and games with his daughter.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Chasity (James) Jones; daughter, Haylin Jones; stepdaughter, Lexi Wood; brother, Bryan Russell of Nitro; sister, Jenny Jones; uncle, Chuck Petry of Hartford; aunt, Pam Schwarz of Mason, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 7 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, W.V, with military honors provided by the Marine Corps League and Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
