Michael Scott Phalen, 65, of New Haven, WV, passed away December 24, 2024.

He was born June 14, 1959, in Montgomery, WV, a son of Pearl (Jarrett) and the late Andrew Phalen. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Gina Phillips; brother, Jason Phalen; nephews, Dakota Phalen, Gavin Phalen and long-time companion, Carol Watson.

Michael was a 1978 graduate of Wahama High School and served in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed his dogs.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include stepson, Andrew Allen; sisters, Karen Gibbs, Delcie Clonch, Nancy Phalen and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services.
