Michelle Lea Burns, 44, of West Columbia, WV, passed away August 12, 2024, at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, Columbus, OH.

She was born October 13, 1979, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of Charles Michael and Jacqueline Ann (Camp) Burns of West Columbia, WV.

She was a graduate of Wahama High School and Rio Grande University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a former member of 4H, and enjoyed thrifting, reading, coloring, hunting, and fishing. She attended West Columbia United Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her son Nikolas Scott Roush of West Columbia; daughter, Kinsey Lea Roush of West Columbia; brother, Michael Douglas Burns and husband Scott of Charleston, WV; half sister, Karen Randolph of Rutland, OH; special cousin, Kaley Nicole Johnson.

Service will be 3 p.m. ~ Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home.
