Nicky Joe Weaver, son of the late Thomas and Betty (Fergueson) Weaver, was born on November 4, 1951, in New Haven, WV, and passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and friends on September 25, 2024, at the age of 72.

Nick lived in New Haven, WV, with his wife Virginia of 40 years, and was a member of the First Church of God in New Haven for a number of years. He was also a member of UMWA Local 1857 and worked for over 30 years at the Southern Ohio Coal Company. He also worked at Lakin State Hospital.

In addition to his wife, Virginia, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Craig (Carla) Weaver of Hartford; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki (Jonathan) Miles of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Darian (Michael) Patterson of New Haven, Braden Weaver of New Haven; great grandchildren, Jaelynn, Harper, and Briar Patterson and his beloved pets, Milo and Cush. Also surviving include his aunts, Dottie Williamson, and Marie Weaver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Francis Taylor; brother, Clem Weaver and cousin, Mary Lucas.

Service will be 4 p.m, Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the First Church of God in New Haven, WV, with Pastor Brenda Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until time of service on Sunday, at the church.
