Patricia Lorena (Hill) Smith, 85, of Clifton, WV, passed away July 24, 2026, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV, following a brief illness.

She was born August 13, 1940, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Reginald Guy and Mary Lorena (Lawrence) Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eugene Smith; sons, Jackie Smith and Jim Smith; one brother; and 4 sisters.

Patricia retired from hotel management after many years at various hotels. She enjoyed sewing and woodworking and had attended the Clifton Tabernacle church.

Survivors include her son, Fred Smith of Clifton, WV; one sister, Kathy Hill; grandchildren, Shane Smith, Justin Smith, Casey Nulter, Tanner Smith, and Maria Smith; and 4 great grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, services for Patricia will be private.
