Robert Carroll Knight 86, of Hartford, WV, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at home, with family by his side.

He was born August 15, 1937, in Hartford, a son of the late Rutter and Sibyl (Romine) Knight. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Linda Little, Teresa VanMeter and one brother, Dean Knight.

Robert was a 1955 graduate of Wahama High School and retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Company as a Mill Operator. He attended Fathers House Church in Hartford where he directed the choir and enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and lending a helping hand to others. Robert loved woodworking and yard sales.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Cheryle (Hayman) Knight; son, David Knight and his wife, Rhonda of Orient, OH; daughter, Becky Knight; grandchildren, Candace, Brandon, Shane, Erika, Matt, Cole, Bradley, Chandler, and four great grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV. A short service to celebrate Roberts's life will begin at 5:45 p.m. with Pastor Mike Finnicum officiating.
