Ronald Eugene Johnson, 66, of Mason, WV, passed away at River’s Health in Point Pleasant, WV, on October 20, 2026.

He was born on December 28, 1959 in Point Pleasant, WV, and was the son of the late Betty June (Smith) Johnson and Franklin Lafayette Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Ann Johnson.

Ronald was a laborer with French City Homes in Gallipolis and was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, collecting arrowheads and had a big heart.

Survivors include his sisters, Debbie (Greg) McKinney of Racine, OH, Tammy (Dennis) Butcher of Middleport, OH; nephew, Greg McKinney; nieces, Ashley Broaddus, Jesi Johnson, and Kelsey Butcher; 4 great nieces; significant other, Crystal Seyler; God son, Shawn Seyler; and grandchild, Aria Kazdan McCarthy.

In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, there will be no public service at his time.
