Roy Eugene Test , 89, of Mason, WV, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at his home, following an extended illness.

He was born February 19, 1933, in Attica, Iowa, a son of the late Leo and Laura (Wood) Test. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Test; four brothers; one sister, and one great grandson, Evan Hayman.

Roy retired from American Alloys as a Chemist with 24 years of service. He was a member of the Meigs County Ikes, the Royal Oaks Campground in Pomeroy, where he was known by many as the "Mayor" and loved participating in the Bells and Bows Square Dancing. He was an avid reader, Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan and enjoyed fishing, poker, and was a Ham Radio Operator.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Linda Willis and her husband, David of Parkersburg, Kathy White and her husband, Dwayne of Rutland, OH, Daniel Test and his wife, Marcy of Arlington, VA, Michael Test and his wife, Daisy of Mason; sister, Bertta Moore of Oregon; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A time of gathering will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Mason, WV, at a later date.
