Tamara Melinda (Goodnite) Morris, 66, of Long Bottom, OH, passed away July 2, 2025, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born November 25, 1958, in Gallipolis, OH a daughter of the late Janice Eileen (Gibbs) Goodnite and Jimmy Goodnite Sr. of New Haven, WV. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Goodnite and grandson, Daniel Klein.

She was formerly employed by Walmart and Bobs Market and Greenhouses both of Mason, WV. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, and collecting glassware.

Survivors in addition to her father include her husband, James Willard Morris; daughters, Shannon M. (Kevin) Taylor of Middleport, OH and Kelly D. Cannon of New Haven, WV; stepsons, James and Timothy Morris; brother, Jim Goodnite of New Haven and Randy Goodnite of Langsville, OH; sisters, Maurica Parsons of Boardman, OH and Sheila Williams of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Alexis, Ian, Hunter, Kylee, Timothy, Kelsey and Zack; great grandchild, Everleigh.

Service will be 1 p.m. ~ July 5, 2025, at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Donnie Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Zerkle Cemetery, Letart, WV. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time-of-service Saturday at the funeral home.
