Terry Kenneth Hoosier , 70, of Point Pleasant, WV, formerly of Stewart, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, following a sudden illness.

He was born December 20, 1950, in Horse Creek (Lincoln County), WV, a son of the late Herbert and Ella Mae (Dalton) Hoosier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edith, Mary, Dora, Arthur, and Shirley.

Terry was a 1968 graduate of Man High School, Logan, WV. He was a United States Army Veteran stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Era. Terry retired as a carpenter from Edward Hines Lumber Company, in Illinois and was a member of the Union Local #1248, Itasca, Illinois. In his spare time, outside of carpentry work, he enjoyed photography and painting.

Survivors include his siblings, Claude Hoosier of Lorado, WV, Bill Hoosier and his wife, Margie of Stewart, VA, Charlotte Gibson and her husband, Scotty of Elburn, IL, Janet Clark of New Haven, WV, and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services at this time. Private interment will be held at a later date.
