Vaughn Leroy Miller, 73, of Hartford, WV, passed away May 18, 2022, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born June 15, 1949, in Mason, WV, a son of the late Leroy and Ruth Katherine (McDaniel) Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua S. Miller; daughter, Melinda Miller; brother, Michael W. Miller; sister, Sonia Bush.

Vaughn was a graduate of Wahama High School. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers Association, the Stewart-Johnson V.F.W Post # 9926 Mason WV and the American Legion Post # 140 New Haven, WV. He was also a member of the Broad Run Gun Club.

Survivors include his sons, Christopher Vaughn (Julie) Miller of Letart and Steven Todd Miller of New Haven; brother, Lenny Miller of Letart; sisters, Sharon Johnson of Racine, OH, JoAnn King of New Haven and Darlene Miller of Hartford; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
