Wanda Selina (Gibbs) Smith , 59, of Mason, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.

She was born August 28, 1963, in Point Pleasant, WV, a daughter of Dorothy (Goble) Leport and the late Garland O'Dell Gibbs.

Wanda was a 1981 graduate of Wahama High School and had previously worked at the Arbors at Pomeroy with 39 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and feeding the wildlife, especially her birds.

Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband of 37 years, Randy Smith; son, Bryan Smith of Mason; daughter, Sadie Woodard and her husband, Ronnie of New Haven; brother, James Gibbs and his wife, Tawna of Point Pleasant; sister, Wendy Tucker of Pomeroy, OH and three grandchildren, Adalynn, Ronnie, and Exekiel.

Graveside service will be 12 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Union Cemetery, Letart, WV, with Pastor Chris Neece officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred.
