Wendell and Zelma had a blessed life together.  For years they traveled in their motor home and spent the winters in Arizona.  They enjoyed antiquing, flea markets and wheeling and dealing all year long.

Wendell was a loving Father and a perfect "Pop-All".  He enjoyed his Family, he was a bright light to everyone not just his Family, if you knew him, you liked him.   He will be sadly missed.

Because of COVID a private Family Graveside Service will be held. We know that everyone would like to show their Love and Respect for him, and our Families and we would love to be with you, but we felt it would not be safe right now.  And if you knew Wendell, you know that he would not want to put anyone at risk.  Since there is no visitation, the Family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the New Haven Fire Department or New Haven United Methodist Church, Fairview Bible Church, St Paul Lutheran Church or the Ashton Baptist Church in his honor.

We would also like to extend a special "Thank You" to the entire staff at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Rehab Center for their dedicated and loving care for Wendell or "Pops" as they affectionately called him.
