William Howard Young, 89, of West Columbia, WV, passed away November 20, 2025, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born August 14, 1936, in Bradbury Township, OH, a son of the late William Okey and Martha Elizabeth (Foley) Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Janice Young, sons, William Howard, Robert Lee and James William Young.

He was a retired Boilermaker from Union Local # 667 and a former barber. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

Survivors include his son, Ralph Edward Young of West Columbia; brother, Russ Young Jr.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. ~ December 1, 2025, in Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV with Pastor Ronnie Lang officiating.
